For over ten years, Jack continued to lead the company. In 2006, Woodland was sold to the Schmidt Family of Companies and became Coldwell Banker Woodland Schmidt. In 1981, he and four partners purchased Woodland Realty and under his leadership, they were consistently one of the top producing real estate companies in Western Michigan. In 1973 he started selling real estate at Woodland Realty, and in 1979 became the Sales Manager. Jack had a very successful real estate career. ![]() Additional loving family members are sister in-law, Lynn Bouman Laura Canan and her daughters, Dani and Lainey as well as his nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his eight grandchildren: Michelle Bronson, Joe Maki (Samantha Jo Gager), Jenna Maki, Jessica Maki (Evan Schriner), Shelby Stroh (Greyson Nordeste), Alison (Andrew) VanDeWalker, Sydney Stroh, Jackson Heglar, and one great-grandson, Colton Bronson. Jack is survived by his four children: Scott (Joannie) Bouman, Sheri Stroh, Christi Maki, and Jennifer (Steven) Maynard. He was preceded in death by his parents his brother, Paul Bouman and his sister, Judy Versendaal. ![]() He was born on March 31, 1942, in Holland, Michigan, to Alvin and Hazel (Brower) Bouman. Bouman, 80, of Holland, Michigan, passed away on December 21, 2022, surrounded by his family. Arrangements are by Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home and condolences may be left online at W. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Reformed Conference Grounds or Providence Church Used By Design. A private graveside burial for family will be in Graafschap Cemetery. A Celebration of Life service is planned for 6:00pm Monday, July 11 also at Providence Church. on Sunday, July 10, at Providence Christian Reformed Church, 821 Ottawa Avenue, Holland. Visitation for Ron is scheduled from 2 – 4 p.m. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Hazel Boeve mother-in-law, Muriel Jipping and nephew, Chris Boeve. Ron is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jan Boeve his children Josh (Lisa) Boeve of KentwoodĪnd Angie Tufts of Spring Lake his granddaughters Allison Tufts, Emma Boeve, and Claire Tufts his siblings Keith (Paula) Boeve of Grand Rapids, Kraig (MaryBeth) Boeve of Holland, Sheryl (James) Jo of Kentwood, and Jan’s brother Ron (Bev) Jipping of Hudsonville his father-in-law Alvin Jipping of Holland and numerous nieces and nephews. How does one sum up a life so well lived but that ended too soon? He had great hair, opinions about everything, loved playing games, and camping. Ron was an amazing doting grandfather, and his granddaughters thought the world of their Papa. He was an active member of Providence Church where he developed lifelong friendships. ![]() His life was grounded in his relationship with Jesus Christ and grew stronger day by day. Ron was completely devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family. Together they raised a son and daughter and over the years added a daughter-in-law and three beautiful granddaughters to the family. He married his high school sweetheart Jan Jipping on June 1, 1984. Ron was born on Novemin Holland, MI to Wayne and Hazel Boeve. Boeve, age 60, of Holland, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jand entered his heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior. ![]()
